The Detroit Sound

Levi's® Vintage Clothing continues to dig deep into its archives, reproducing fits, fabrics and details from bygone eras, while faithfully capturing the spirit and heritage of American work wear. For Fall 2013, Levi’s® Vintage Clothing pays tribute to Detroit's "Boom Town" era, 1960-1966. "Boom Town," however, equally applies to the music coming out of the Motor City at that time – sounds that continue to influence and reverberate throughout modern popular culture. This season Levi's® Vintage Clothing not only pays tribute to the slick threads worn by the people who were there but also the city's unique musical revolution, by releasing a box of seven 7” records presenting the Detroit sound while covering a wide breadth of genres and labels from the era.

CyKiK served as producer for this project including all licensing and manufacturing.

KLVC Orange Tab Radio

To launch the Levi’s Vintage Clothing Orange Tab Collection – designs resurrected from the 60's and 70's – we traveled back in time to give today’s fans the chance to relive the sound and style of the golden era of rock n’ roll. KLVC Orange Tab Radio is a 24-hour online radio station complete with period-perfect DJ hosts, talk segments, commercials and station announcements. A cross-country promotional tour and videos for KLVC and the Party in Your Pants Tribute Band Music Festival in Topanga Canyon added to the Orange Tab story and rounded out the layered campaign.

CyKiK was a part of the ideation and production of the station.
