Elton John Sneezing

by KamranV on April 9, 2009

These days, especially in what some may call the not-a-real-job-business of the music business, you sometimes get that feeling of “maybe I should finally get that real job.” Well on a conference phone call today there were 3 very loud sneezes in the background. Guess who gave those whopper of sneezes? Answer: Elton John. Its one of those moments where you just think to yourself. “That would have never happened if I wasn’t doing what I’m doing.”

“bless-you” elton. thx for giving me and everyone else following their dreams just a little extra inspiration. I hope everyone else has something like this happen in their job every once in a while to keep you going.

At the end of last year, my gracious business partner connected me to Josh Swartz and Alex Patsavas (the duo responsible for “guilty pleasure” shows such as Gossip Girl, Chuck and the OC). They actually produced the entire series at the Echoplex (one of the Spaceland Clubs).

Myself and my team of talented local creatives produced the musical performance pieces of the show.

There has been a ton of press about it. According to several sources this is the first ever drama that has ACTUAL live performance recordings in the show. A little history being made :)

I’m very proud to finally put out our first ever Vinyl Release. VERY LIMITED: only 250 will be pressed. The idea is that our goal was always to get these amazing shows on vinyl but because vinyl is very expensive to make, we decided to create a risk-free way that we can offer vinyl of select shows without bankrupting our very small operation.

Here’s the deal: if 200 people order by MARCH 31st, we press the wax. If 200 don’t order, we DO NOT PRESS.

HOWEVER, on the off chance that 200 of you fine people don’t order we will give you a 100% refund. The bold fans who ordered will be rewarded because when you make your order, you happen to get a FREE digital download of the whole show plus an iPod video of the Documentary DVD that is included with the vinyl.

FEATURES:
–TWO Discs of 180g Red virgin vinyl
–Limited Edition (only 250 made)
–Handmade AND handnumbered with Love
–Short Documentary DVD of the night
–IMMEDIATE Download of a Short Documentary iPod Video of the night
